RESISTIT® RPL E

RESISTIT® RPL E roof sheets are roof-sized waterproofing membranes prefabricated from reinforced EPDM synthetic rubber.

On all but the largest roofs, the membrane can be prefabricated to cover the entire roof area in just one piece.
The sheets are fabricated in our factory to individual roof dimensions, and are permanently joined together into a seamless sheet using a hot vulcanising process. After laying, the sheets are held down by ballast (gravel at extensive green roof systems). Alternatively, paving slabs laid on rubber protection pads can be used for terraced roofs.

Properties

• maintenance-free; rot-proof, frost-proof and highly resistant to ageing
• unaffected by infra-red or ultra-violet radiation
• resistant to ozone and other atmospheric pollutants
• can be heat-welded with Resitrix SK in conjunction with FG 35 primer
• bitumen-compatible
• withstands normal foot traffic and is nonslip, even when wet
• withstands sparks and radiant heat when used in a ballasted system
• can be laid in the wet conditions
• contains no plasticizers or chlorides and will not shrink with heat or age
• recyclable, permanently elastic
