RESISTIT® E general EPDM waterproofing membrane can be used for above and below ground waterproofing, as well as damp proofing strips for windows, facades and brickwork.
It is provided with a TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) layer on both sides.
This enables the material to either use contact adhesive (Phoenix G2000) or hot air welding by putting RESITRIX® SK strips for lapping purposes.
Properties
- 40 year life expectancy, low application failure (no washing etc.)
- Rot and frost proof and highly resistant to ageing, unaffected by Infra-Red or Ultra Violet
- Resistant to ozone and other atmospheric pollutants
- Laps can either be bonded by using Phoenix G2000 contact adhesive or hot air welded with Resitrix SK in conjunction with FG35 primer
- Bitumen compatible, withstands normal foot traffic and is not-slippery, even when wet
- Withstands sparks and radiant heat in accordance with DIN 4102 part 7 equivalent to FAA fire rating when used in a ballasted system contains no plasticizers or chlorines and will not shrink with heat or age
- Recyclable, carries Building Inspectorate Test Certificate No 22 8019 0 99-01 and complies with UK Building Regulations ·
