ALUTRIX® / ALUTRIX® FR

Our aluminium vapour barrier is self adhesive. It is designed for use in roof constructions, where extremely high vapour resistance is required.

ALUTRIX® has a very high resistance to tearing under foot traffic and therefore is particularly suitable for use on profiled metal deckings. Correctly installed, ALUTRIX® is absolutely vapour tight. It can therefore be used in buildings with extreme internal conditions (e.g. swimming pools, saunas, kitchens, bathrooms etc).

On plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), or timber boarded roofs, ALUTRIX® can be applied directly without a primer, provided the timber substrate is free from dust or grease. On profiled metal decking, ALUTRIX® should be laid in the direction of the deck with side laps fully supported on the corrugations. End laps should be minimum 150 mm.
