Joint seals in traffic surfaces

pic_fugen

Since 1975 Phoenix has practical experience with the use of elastomer sealing profiles for joints in concrete motorway surfaces.

1986 Phoenix EPDM profiles were also first used on airfields.
In addition to the requirements when used on motorways, the profiles have to withstand the effects of kerosene, hydraulic oil and various thawing agents.

Meanwhile, the development of profile geometry has been proceeded. Our profiles can be laid by machines and allow
wider joints.

Properties

  • weather-proof
  • low level of stress relaxation
  • good recovery in widening joints
  • long lifetime
  • high shore hardness against dirt
  • heat resistant
